*Note that "2775" is ONLY valid for the 2013.30 files. Do not modify anything else and click the "OK" button. A new window will open, and in the FID section, enter "2775".

In the "Select Map Product:" section, choose "" using the pull-down menu. Do not enter anything in the "Select Software Product:" section. In the top line, enter your 10-digit Device ID. Do not continue until after you have generated your 25-digit unlock code on a PC.Ħ) On your PC, open Jetmouse's "Garmin Keygen v1.5 + CF.exe" program. Write down your Device ID (or snap a picture). At some point, the system will display your 10-digit Device ID and your 4 digit validation code. Be patient.ĥ) If the file passes the validation check, the system will prompt you to continue with the install. * The validation process can take 20 minutes or so. If there is a major problem with the filename or folder structure, an error message will be displayed immediately instead of the validation screen. The screen should immediately display a window that says, "Validating Install". Let the radio boot up and ensure that the Nav screen is displayed.Ĥ) With the Nav screen displayed, insert the USB stick into the USB jack in the center console. If not, plugging in the USB stick will have no effect.ģ) Press the ignition button to put the car in ACC mode. *If the process is interrupted or has an error, you must turn off the car, open the driver's door, and let the car remain off for a minute or so. If you don't, the car can turn itself off in the middle of the process and you will have to start again. The car will need to be in ACC mode the entire time, so you should either stay in the car or leave the keys inside the cabin.

*The next steps will take a considerable amount of time, upwards of at least an hour or so. On the blank stick, make a folder called, "garmin".Ģ) Copy your gmapsupp.img file into the "garmin" folder and rename the file to "gmapprom.img". Deleting those files allowed the update to work. It's easily found with Google.ġ) Using a blank USB stick - 210Blacktop and I encountered problems with a new, stock SanDisk stick, possibly from the preloaded autoinstall files. *You will need to use JetMouse's Garmin Unlock Generator v1.5 in order to complete the process. I've had a 2 for 2 success rate using my files, but I can't guarantee anything.

I assume no responsibility for anyone messing up their nav system.

*Follow these instructions at your own risk. I will assume that you have legitimately acquired your maps, and are attempting to install them yourself manually for one reason or another: Here are the steps necessary to update the maps to 2013.30.
